About South River Doodles
WELCOME TO SOUTH RIVER DOODLES
We are Angela and Jeff Bishop, owners of South River Doodles. We are a small, in-home breeder in Virginia creating the finest Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles and Bernedoodles available.
We are absolutely sold on the Australian Labradoodle breed, which was developed in Australia by a group of breeders with the goal of producing a consistent dog that would be allergy-friendly with the temperament of a service dog. These dogs are the cream of the Doodle crop!
Our dogs live in our home with us and are part of our day-to-day activities. Our dogs are cared for and loved by our whole family.
Our puppies are intelligent, trainable, non-aggressive, and intuitive. They are wonderful with children and can also make incredible therapy dogs.
We fully health-test our parent dogs and plan each litter carefully. Our puppies are raised using the Puppy Culture method that stimulates and prepares the puppies for life from the time they are 3 days old.
Our goal is to provide healthy, outstanding, and intelligent puppies that will be a blessing to your family for years to come. We work hard to ensure our puppies get the best possible start in life and are well-socialized by our family and friends.

OUR LOCATION
We live in Chesterfield County just outside of Richmond, Virginia. We are close to Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., Charlottesville, Roanoke and Virginia Beach. We are also within about a 4-5 hour driving distance of North Carolina, Delaware and Pennsylvania. And we ship all over the country with flight nannies or ground transportation. Come for a visit while you pick up your puppy!
